The season is about to start, and we expect the first swell next week. From now on forward everyday in Iguana is THE PERFECT DAY.

In SURFER February 2009 our beach break is featured on the PERFECT DAY page.
SURFER doesn't name the break, and we appreciate that. However, you already found it, so book your trip and get 7 perfect days down here. From late February to September it's just perfect down here.

Back in December 2007 Transworld surf named this areat the 5th best place to live and shred - underlying the all-day year around offshore winds, gobs of ground swell and the variety of breaks as key.

New Prices .....

We are starting 2009 out with some crazy prices. Only 50 USD per person per day for luxury accommodations at the best surf spots in Nicaragua. Add 40 USD for full food package - that's 4 meals a day to keep you surfing multiple sessions.

November was a great month with lots of surf. December has been smaller. Now the 2009 season starts and we are now looking at constant all day off shore winds and growing swell. January and February are super fun, check in March, April, May, June, July, August for the big barrels.

Jimmy Roth visits Iguana Surf Retreats

One of Central Americas best surfers - Jimmy Roth from El Salvador came down to visit us here in Iguana. Photographer Tony Roberts had set the up and he also invited photographer Casey Rossi to join. After some days with onshore and rain, it cleared up and the crew scored. It was a pleasure to have you guys here, and we hope you all come back soon.
